Position: Business Systems Analyst 
  
Ideally we're looking for:
 
  • A good 4-year CS degree followed by an MBA 
  • Understanding of general business practices and procedures 
  • Ability to think logically, understand business problems and build software models to solve them 
  • Expertise in modern SQL, application development and programming techniques 
  • A can-do attitude with self-motivation and the ability to take initiative 
  • Have some understanding of Business Intelligence 
  • Great communication and presentation skills 
  • Must be a creative thinker! 

Job responsibilities entail: 
 
  • Liaise with business managers and end-users to extract business requirements 
  • Convert business requirements into formal software requirement specifications
  • Develop software prototypes for proof-of-concept  
  • Maintain close coordination with ERP vendor for upgrades, bug fixes and new modules 
  • Document ERP activities and develop end-user guides 
  • Conduct regular training sessions for end-users 
  • Continuously innovate!

Position: Network Administrator

Must have:
  • Strong hold over LAN/WAN routing, switching, e-mail, security and bandwidth management. 
  • Must be hands-on on both Windows & Linux platforms 
  • Clear concepts 
  • Self-starter, must be able to take initiative and responsibility 
  • Be able to work in a well structured environment 
  • Very strong ethics and understanding of corporate data security needs 
  • Have a dynamic approach towards their work and be a self-learner 
  • Strong dealing experience with all major ISPs 
  • Must have worked in a standards based environment
You need not apply if: 
  • You don't have atleast 5 years of experience as a network administrator of over 500 nodes in a multi-location environment
  • You don't have experience in both Windows & Linux environments
  • You have only worked on one mail server platform 
  • Have not worked in a structured, standards based environment 
Immediate tasks at hand include: 
  • Take charge from outgoing Network Administrator 
  • Revamp legacy network and routing structure 
  • Revamp email communication system to handle multi-location email management of over 1000 users 
  • Enhance recently deployed network security system and incorporate enhanced spam protection 
  • Design and implement country-wide fail-over capable WAN comprising high and low bandwidth nodes in collaboration with leading ISPs. 
This is a very high pressure job and requires strong ability to manage tight deadlines, high levels of security and maximum up-time. Please do not apply if you profile does not match the above criteria and you do not have recent, hands-on experience in handling the tasks mentioned above. 
Position: Business Domain Specialist - Retail

The purpose of this position is to equip the MIS department with specific knowledge of the retail domain during and after the process of an ERP implementation. This is a critical role that usually provides the following services:
  • To complement Business Systems Analysts in understanding business requirements and on-ground operational realities 
  • To complement Business Systems Analysts in gauging effectiveness of implemented systems and ongoing improvement for the benefit of the business
  • To educate end users in 'their language' on the significance, importance and need for systems and complement the training function during and after an ERP implementation
  • To complement the implementation process in various ways wherever there is a gap of understanding between the analysts and end users. 
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of regional manager/area manager or similar experience in a retail chain environment where he/she MUST HAVE extensively used industry standard ERP systems for his/her job. Someone who has gone through an implementation cycle will have added advantage, so will someone who has previously worked on Retail Pro. 
Position: Asst. Systems Administrator

Responsibilities
  • To plan, configure, monitor, backup, secure and administer Oracle Databases
  • To perform database maintenance, upgrades and tuning
  • To perform user administration for system level users in various enterprise systems
  • To resolve database related issues both internally and with principals (Oracle, Microsoft)
  • To plan the database architecture for large scale software deployments
  • To perform administration, monitoring, troubleshooting on Storage (SAN), Blade Center and Tape Library
Must have:
  • A good 4-year CS or IT undergraduate degree followed by at least 2 years of work experience
  • Extensive experience in administering Oracle databases including planning and performing installation, monitoring, redundancy, security, access control, and integrity
  • Experience of planning large scale redundant deployments
  • Familiarity with a mixed database environment
  • Experience of handling Storage Area Network (SAN), Blade Center, Tape Library (Work on IBM products will be plus)
  • Experience of working in a commercial environment - retail or manufacturing would be an advantage
